Cleo Sol is a talented singer-songwriter who has been making movement in the music industry. With her soulful voice and deepened lyricism, her music is a unique blend of R&B, soul, and jazz that sets her apart from other artists in the industry.

Cleopatra Zvezdana Nikolic, better known by her stage name of Cleo Sol is an English Singer and songwriter. She has truly spoiled us with the release of her five solo studio albums and blessed our ears with the R&B collective Sault.

SAULT

Sault, frequently known as SAULT, are a British music collective that specialise in a mixture of R&B,house, indie, gospel and much more. The project consists of Cleo Sol, Kid Sister and Chronixx. Within Sault’s first few years, the collective managed to release five incredible studio albums.

This mystery indie and R&B group have manged to gather in 3.8 million monthly listeners who are similarly hooked on their great music.

About Cleo

Cleo Sol was born in the village of Ladbroke Grove to her jazz musician parents ,who lived in Notting Hill. Cleo grew up in Ladbroke Grove. Her mother is Spanish and her father is Jamaican. This can really shine through in her work, as of the ability to draw upon these different identities is what makes her work so special and truly stand out.

Little Simz

‘Woman’ is a song by Mercury prize winner Little Simz , featuring Cleo Sol. The song was released on the 6^th of May 2021 , and is the second single from the infamous album ‘sometimes I might be introvert.’

The pair performed together at Glastonbury in 2022 and treated us to tracks such as ‘woman’ and ‘selfish.’ If this wasn't enough, in 2023 after Simz finished her tour at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace, she had a Suprise for her concertgoers. She brought out Cleo to perform together their hit track ‘woman’ once more. Taken from the five star album 'sometimes I might be introvert.’

Music career

Sol made her first debut in 2008, when she featured on the hit single “Tears” by Tinie Tempah. This led to her later signing to the record label Dirty Canvas, by Da VinChe, to later go on and release singles such as “High” and even “never the right time.”

Rose in the Dark

Cleo Sol released her debut studio album, Rose in the dark, in 2020 and managed to be featured in Clash and even Complex in their end of year lists. The album features such as “one love” , “rewind” and a personal favourite “butterfly.”

Cleo sol has been described as “soul nourishing” when it comes to her music and immensely talented. She has such a unique sound that combines heartfelt lyrics, soft melodies, and beautifully rich vocal delivery. She manages to creating a profound connection with her audience and is truly something special.
